What do our customers say?
In Sept 04 I bought an overweight Shire x, who had been left to horse a round in a field. As he was overweight we needed to get the weight off him Pronto, but did not want to risk lack of nutrition. I fed him the High Performance Supplement (at half measure) throughout the winter as the grazing was poor and he was only getting chaff. He was wintered out (Rugged) but he had the shiniest coat of the WHOLE yard, a sparkle in his eye, and seemed more alert, plus he managed to lose the weight, and build up his fitness. The farrier commented that his hooves were perfect, and he never had any joint problems etc whilst on it. I have tried various other supplements, and I can honestly say that none were as effective as this one! I will definitely be buying it again... Sharon Brady

Why feed a multi vitamin supplement for horses in hard work? Research has shown that the hard working competition horse has a higher requirement for vitamins than almost any other animal. By feeding Competition Horse you will ensure that your horse receives all the micro nutrients he needs to keep him at the peak of condition and able to cope with the stresses and strains of training, travelling and competing.
The vitamin content of most feed stuffs reduces rapidly over time, therefore the older the feed the lower the vitamin content.
For example, fresh grass is a good source of vitamins A and E but 80% of the vitamin E is lost during the process of hay making and vitamin A is lost at about 10% per month thereafter. This means that hay a year old may contain zero levels of these vital nutrients.
It is essential therefore to feed a multi vitamin supplement in order to ensure an adequate supply of these vital nutrients, especially if you are feeding high levels of straights and forage and low levels of compound feeds. Competition Horse is a complete supplement for hard working horses and contains over 30 essential nutrients.
Key ingredients include: Biotin, Methionine, Lysine and Bioplex minerals to maintain strong hooves.
